Still waters run deep, actions have a direction
Since I entered Zhongde, from practicing professional academic activities to starting up business in national and provincial events, I deeply feel that the goal cannot be reached overnight. Therefore, practicing the courage and calmness of long-term planning and facing unknown challenges has become an important topic since I started my undergraduate study. I focused on each course, continuously improved my foreign language skills, enhanced my professionalism and experience, and actively participated in various activities and events to exercise my comprehensive quality. This process allows me to experience the charm of academics and the fun of life, and I hope that in the future I can always maintain the lifelong learning ability of "my life has a limit, but knowledge has no limit".
Freedom High, Openness and Inclusion
The Faculty has provided us with a high-quality international exchange and learning platform, giving us the opportunity to lead and organize large-scale activities with international students, actively participate in international co-creative ceremonies and forums, listen to lectures by experts from industry and academia, and take part in the dual system project of cooperation between schools and enterprises on the ground. The internationalized education of the Faculty has enabled me to be immersed in cross-cultural learning and professional practice, and I am more and more cognizant of the fact that both in academic exploration and life journey, we shouldKeep an open mind, , ,Acceptance of diversity of views and recommendations, , ,Continuously expanding their horizons and minds.Especially in the face of diversified choices and open propositions, it is more necessary to have a "heart of a tiger, sniffing roses" wide-open pattern and the spirit of rigorous exploration.

Creating more options for the future
Studying in the Visual Communication program of the Faculty of Studies has provided me with a solid theoretical foundation and a wide range of practical opportunities. I deeply felt the diversity and possibilities of the program, and it ignited my passion for design. During my study in China.Gradual development of independent thinking and creative skillsI have been a part of this program for many years, and it has become a cornerstone for me to explore a broader field in the future. In my junior year, I chose to continue my studies at the Brand University of Applied Sciences in Germany. This 2+2 study abroad experience gave me a more comprehensive understanding of the international education system and advanced design concepts. In the cross-cultural academic atmosphere, I learned a lot about design thinking and creative problem solving, which provided me with a new perspective for my professional development.
Plan your time wisely
I decided to apply for graduate school only six months after coming to Hamburg, which was a breakthrough in my personal ability and a test of my personal will. When coursework and graduate school application go hand in hand, busyness is inevitable.Rational planning of time, was the most important ability I learned throughout my junior and senior years.

Chen Enshu (1931-1995), communist politician International Economics and Trade (Chinese and Foreign 2+2), Class of 20
Received postgraduate offers from University College London, University of Sydney
Plan for the long term and step out of your comfort zone
I made the decision to go to graduate school at the end of the first semester of my sophomore year, when my GPA was just over 3.0, and after talking with teachers who had experience in studying abroad, I realized that I needed to make every effort to improve my GPA and accumulate relevant experiences in order to achieve this goal. I changed my attitude towards studying, actively participated in group work, and communicated with my teachers when I had any questions, and finally went to the UK with a GPA of 3.7 for the next two years of my study.
Solve problems on your own
For me, choosing to go abroad was about stepping out of my comfort zone. When I came abroad, I didn't have takeout that I could order at any time, and I didn't have the support that my parents provided at any time. When I was abroad, I slowly learned how to solve problems on my own. At first, I couldn't fully understand the lessons, so I used software to translate and record them, and spent a lot of time practicing my listening skills. As I was lacking in internship experience, I searched for ways to get an internship at Deloitte, one of the Big Four firms in the world, by actively interviewing for the position. I interned in the firm's risk consulting department, where I learned a lot of knowledge and skills about risk assessment and management from senior practitioners. I also learnedRigorous work ethic and professionalismThese are indispensable assets for my future career.

Continuous upgrading and development of personal competencies
The 2+2 model provided by Sino-German Branding School has helped me a lot. The English teaching mode and the compulsory IELTS course in China have greatly improved my English level. I was able to face my study abroad and subsequent postgraduate studies with greater ease. At the same time, the 2+2 program provided me with the opportunity to study abroad with other students I know, which is also a very important point for me personally. One and a half years is enough time for me toDeveloped independenceThey are also well adapted to life abroad, avoiding a series of problems such as not adapting and having to face culture shock alone when graduate students go abroad later on.
Seize the opportunity to enrich your personal experience
Undergraduate GPA and the richness of personal experience are the most important things foreign universities look for, so for these two points, students should pay great attention to the beginning of the freshman year-...Strive to earn a higher GPA and participate in more activities to enrich your personal experienceAs a student of Exhibition Economics and Management, I was given a lot of opportunities to practise in Germany. As a student of Exhibition Economics and Management, I got a lot of exhibition-related practice opportunities when I was in Germany. I participated in a series of exhibitions such as 50+50 Sino-German Youth Design Exhibition and Fuchun Mountain Residence Photography Exhibition. These experiences have enriched my personal experience to a great extent and laid a solid foundation for my subsequent application to graduate school.
