The first batch of students from the Sino-German College of Design and Communication (CDC) from Year 18 have successfully obtained their study visas and are ready to go to Germany at the beginning of October this year. With the successful completion of this work, the preparation for the class of 19 students to stay in Germany has been officially started.
On the evening of September 23rd, we held a meeting to prepare for the audit of Class 19 students to Germany. Prof. Stefan Waller, International Academic Director of Brand University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and several teachers from Sino-German College shared and explained about the overview of Hamburg, Germany, APS interview skills, and APS audit process.
Prof. Stefan Waller gave the students an overview of the city of Hamburg, where the German University of Applied Sciences Branding is located. Hamburg Europe is a cosmopolitan port city and is known as the "brand capital" due to its outstanding creativity, inclusiveness and openness that nurtures many companies.
In order to let the students know more about the city, Prof. Stefan Waller and Vice President Zhang Yiping shared their respective "Top 10 places to visit in Hamburg", including world-class museums, Art Nouveau cafes, and visually stunning art galleries.

Prof. Stefan Waller also gave a brief introduction to the teaching staff of the German institutions and the European study tours, and gave an insight into the possible brand-related careers of the students after graduation.
He pointed out that the three majors of visual communication, advertising and exhibition economics and management, which correspond to brand design, brand communication and brand management respectively, are interrelated and have their own focus, and all have good prospects in this digital era with the continuous development of new media. Finally, Prof. Stefan Waller gave an introduction on the purpose and focus of the APS audit.

For the interview content and attention in the APS audit, professional instructors Zhou Xinyin and Zhou Nan introduced the specific requirements of APS interview for the three 2+2 majors of Visual Communication, Advertising and Exhibition respectively, and showed the excellent cases of APS interview preparation for the students of Grade 18. Mr. Gao Siyu, who is in charge of visa examination in Germany, gave a detailed introduction and explanation of each stage of the application process to Germany.
The current global epidemic is temporary, and continued close cooperation between Germany and China is the trend for the future. There is still one year left before our class of 19 students will study in German overseas partner universities. Zhejiang Wanli College will continue to deepen its cooperation with German branded universities of applied sciences and is committed to creating better conditions for Chinese and German students to explore branded innovative international education experiences.
