I. About Zhejiang Wanli University

Zhejiang Wanli University is a state-owned provincial general undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education, which charges tuition fees according to the cost of education and is designated by the Ministry of Education as a pilot unit for state-owned colleges and universities to implement a new management model and operation mechanism. Located in Ningbo, the university covers an area of more than 1,400 mu, with a building area of 650,000 square meters, and is divided into Qianhu and Huilong campuses. With beautiful scenery and perfect teaching facilities, the campus has been awarded as "Civilized Campus", "Safe Campus", "Green School" and "Model Security and Safety Unit" at the provincial level. In 2011, it became a national master's degree training unit, and in 2015, it was approved as a pilot model school for application-oriented construction in Zhejiang Province.

II. About Sino-German Faculty of Branding

Zhejiang Wanli University deeply introduced the education and teaching resources of Brand University of Applied Sciences and established Sino-German Faculty of Branding. Under the jurisdiction of the Faculty, Zhejiang Wanli University has the Joint Institute of Zhejiang Wanli University and Brand University of Applied Sciences, Sino-German Institute of Design and Communication, and the Research Institute of Brand Sciences.

The Sino-German Faculty of Branding is oriented to serve the high-quality development of the economy and society, actively adapts to knowledge innovation and technological progress, focuses on "brand science", builds brand design, brand communication, brand management and other emerging cross-disciplinary majors, and develops with characteristics. The Sino-German Faculty of Branding maintains the linkage with domestic and foreign enterprises and industries, and cooperates in talent demand prediction, cultivation and evaluation, and strives to realize the mutual matching and promotion between disciplines and specialties, industry chain, innovation chain and talent chain.

Joint Institute of Zhejiang Wanli University and Brand University of Applied Sciences is a Sino-foreign cooperative institution approved by the Ministry of Education, which adopts the 4+0 model to cultivate talents in visual communication design (Brand Design) and advertising (Brand Communication). Students study at Zhejiang Wanli College for 4 years and graduate with both a bachelor's degree certificate and a bachelor's degree certificate from Zhejiang Wanli University and a bachelor's degree certificate from German Brand University of Applied Sciences.

The Sino-German Institute of Design and Communication, adopting the 2+2 model, offers majors in Visual Communication Design, Art and Technology, Advertising, Exhibition Economics and Management, and International Economics and Trade. Students study in Zhejiang Wanli College in the first and second year, and study in the foreign partner university in the third and fourth year, and they can get the undergraduate degree certificate, bachelor's degree certificate of Zhejiang Wanli University and bachelor's degree certificate of the foreign partner university at the same time.

As an innovation service platform for the integration of industry, science and education, the Institute of Brand Science conducts academic research related to brand science and promotes the improvement of education and teaching; promotes the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the practical application of research results by teachers and students.

Students of the Sino-German Faculty Branding can choose internships at the practical teaching bases of the German University of Applied Sciences in Europe, or at European companies in China, including multinational companies/groups such as Unilever, British American Tobacco, Siemens, Volkswagen, BMW, HAPE, and creative/media companies such as Landor Brand Design, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, Publicis, Rongma Advertising, Mutabor, etc. Graduates mostly choose to pursue further studies abroad or employment in multinational companies.

IV. Admission Principles

The admission of new students carries out the principle of "fair competition, fair selection, open and transparent". The admission test is mainly a cultural test, a comprehensive assessment of moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic development, a comprehensive evaluation, and a merit-based admission. The school's public foreign language course is English, and some courses are taught in English. Candidates who do not speak English should be cautious when filling in their applications.

V. Admission rules

VI. Charges

The school manages fees in strict accordance with the approval of the price department of Zhejiang Province and relevant regulations, and students are charged tuition fees according to the academic year system. The tuition fee is RMB 32,000 per student per academic year. During the study period in the foreign school, you must also pay the relevant fees of the foreign institution. Student accommodation fees are charged according to the standard recorded by the provincial price department, which is RMB 3,000 per student per academic year.

VII. Scholarship System

In order to encourage students to develop morally, intellectually and physically, the school has established various scholarship systems. This year, in order to encourage excellent candidates to actively apply for the school, the school has set up a special scholarship for quality students, which is divided into three types, namely, scholarship for studying abroad, scholarship for new students, and scholarship for special majors. The selection and distribution of the scholarship for quality students are carried out according to the Implementation Measures of Zhejiang Wanli College Quality Student Scholarship.

Study Abroad Scholarship refers to the scholarship used to encourage outstanding students to enroll in the 2+2 double-degree program and study hard after entering the university. There are first, second and third prizes with awards of 30,000, 20,000 and 10,000 RMB, etc.

Freshman Scholarship means to encourage outstanding students to apply for our university. There are special scholarships for new students and excellent scholarships for new students. Full-time general undergraduate freshmen who apply to our university from the first band line (first batch line) or above and are admitted to our university in the first round (non-solicitation) and complete the registration and check-in procedures within the specified time. The award amount is 20,000 RMB/student. Full-time general undergraduate students who are admitted to our university within 10 points below the first band line (first batch line), and who are admitted to our university in the first round (non-solicitation) and complete the registration procedures within the specified time. The award amount is 10,000 RMB/student.

For middle school enrollment: Students enrolled in middle school through separate examinations are treated the same as other students during their studies, except that they cannot change their major.

VIII. Graduation certificate and degree certificate

  • Graduation certificate: Students will be issued a graduation certificate from Zhejiang Wanli College after completing the credits specified in the teaching plan of their major.
  • Degree certificate: bachelor's degree of Zhejiang Wanli College is awarded to those who meet the conditions of bachelor's degree of Zhejiang Wanli College, and bachelor's degree of foreign partner university is awarded to those who meet the conditions of bachelor's degree of foreign partner university.
