China Time-Honored Brand (China Time-Honored Brand) has products, skills or services inherited from generation to generation, with a distinctive traditional Chinese cultural background and deep cultural heritage, the old brand is the very best left over from centuries of competition in commerce and handicrafts.

With the development of modern economy, many old brands are quite lost. Old firms inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture, practice the requirements of high-quality development, carry the people's expectations for a better life, and are the valuable wealth of the Chinese nation.In order to jointly promote the development of heritage and innovation of old brands, the Sino-German Branding Department is actively contributing to academics through school-enterprise cooperation.

Wu Liangcai Optical Company, a subsidiary of Shanghai Sanlian (Group) Co., Ltd, was founded in the 58th year of Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1719 AD), with more than 300 years of history, and is the founder of the national optical industry.

In the previous period, Sino-German Branding Department and Shanghai Sanlian Group had an in-depth project communication for the brand renewal of Wu Liangcai Optical Company. Both sides discussed and exchanged in detail about the objectives, programs and expected results of the cooperation.

On December 7th, the Sino-German Branding Department and Shanghai Sanlian Group's old innovation project - Wu Liangcai Eyewear Brand Renewal - was officially launched.

In the morning of December 7, a team of Sino-German students led by Huang Heqing, deputy secretary of the Party branch of Sino-German Branding Department, and Prof. Ni Haixian, the special tutor, paid a field visit to Ningbo Headquarter of Wu Liangcai Optical Company. During the in-depth communication with Mr. Sha Tianbing, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Sanlian Group, and his team, as well as the management staff of the store, the students raised a series of questions, involving brand positioning, market competition, consumer experience and other aspects. Mr. Sha Tianbing, Deputy General Manager and other corporate leaders shared with the students the mode and ideas of brand development. Both sides also had a more in-depth discussion on "how to seize the psychology of young consumers".

In the afternoon of December 7th, Sha Tianbing, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Sanlian Group, Chen Kang, Manager of Brand and Customer Management Center, and Jiang Yaling, Manager of Business Management Department of Franchise Center, came to Sino-German Department of Branding for a project seminar. The seminar was hosted by Prof. Ni Haixian and attended by Zhang Yiping, Director of Sino-German Branding Department, Stefan Waller, Vice Dean of the German University of Branding and Applied Sciences, Zhejiang Wanli University, Gao Di, Vice Dean of Sino-German School of Design and Communication, Zhejiang Wanli University, as well as representatives of the teachers of various majors. The two sides had an in-depth discussion based on brand characteristics, operation mode and brand innovation.Clear focus on cooperation in later phases.

Both Sino-German Branding and Shanghai Sanlian Group are looking forward to the next cooperation. The Sino-German Branding Department will take this cooperation as an opportunity to further promote the in-depth integration of school-enterprise cooperation, provide a broader practical platform for students, and cultivate international brand management professionals with more practical ability.
