On May 28, Lin Zhihua, President of Zhejiang Wanli College, and Lv Jie, Vice President of Zhejiang Wanli Education Group, accompanied by Shan Fan, President of the German University of Branding and Applied Sciences, were invited to visit the headquarters of the German Brand Association (DBA) located in Berlin, Germany, and had a meeting with Christian Köhler, Chairman of the German Brand Association (DBA).
Mr. Christian Köhler, Chairman of the German Brand Association (DBA), introduced the history and development of the DBA and its role and influence in the German industry to the delegation. He introduced that the German Brand Association is committed to representing the common interests of all enterprises in the industry in building brand concepts, protecting brand rights and enhancing brand value. During the 110 years since its establishment, as a bridge between the German government and enterprises, the German Brand Association has assisted the government in formulating and implementing industry development plans, industrial policies, administrative regulations and relevant laws, formulating trade regulations and standards, coordinating the business behavior among enterprises in the brand industry, maintaining the reputation of the industry, encouraging fair competition, and cracking down on violations of the law and lawlessness.
The German Brand Association promotes the construction of the German University of Branding and Applied Sciences as a platform for education, scientific research and industrial training, integrates the latest development trend of the industry, supports the in-depth cooperation between the German University of Branding and Zhejiang Wanli University, and provides industry, enterprise and intellectual resources for the joint cultivation of internationalized interdisciplinary brand design, brand management and brand communication.
Mr. Lin Zhihua, President of Zhejiang Wanli University, said that the German Brand Association has been committed to the construction of brand science between China and Germany for a long time, especially during the preparation of the Joint School of German Brand University of Applied Sciences of Zhejiang Wanli University, as a representative of the German brand industry, it has provided important support for the preparation and declaration work of the Joint School, and on behalf of Zhejiang Wanli University, he expresses his sincere thanks for the help of the Association.
