The competition is divided into three stages: school competition (preliminary), provincial competition (review and final) and national competition (final and grand final). The competition is hosted by Zhejiang Foreign Languages Society, Shanghai Foreign Languages Education Press and Wenzhou University, and organized by the College of Foreign Languages of Wenzhou University, with academic support from the Intercultural Research Center of Shanghai International Studies University and the Academic Committee of Comparative Literature and Intercultural Studies of Zhejiang Foreign Languages Society.
