In the evening of December 18th, "Open Mai Night" organized by Siyuan Club of Sino-German Branding Department was held in No.9 Teaching Building, in which Huang Heqing, deputy secretary of the Party branch of Sino-German Branding Department, Li Danwei, secretary of the student branch, and Cao Wei, a member of Ningbo "Backwave" Youth Theory Lecture Group and a member of Ningbo Beilun District Political Consultative Committee, were invited to attend. Cao Wei, a member of the CPPCC of Beilun District in Ningbo and co-initiator of the "Theory Backpacker" flash mob program, was invited to the open mic event of Siyuan Society. She is a member of the Ningbo Beilun District Political Consultative Conference and the co-initiator of the "Theory Backpacker" flash preaching program. Three Sino-German students demonstrated their understanding, knowledge and practice of Marxism and contemporary Chineseized Marxist theory on the stage of Open Mai. Zhang Yujie from Exhibition (Sino-German 2+2) looked into the past and future of Marxism in his speech, combining the theories of socialist market economy system, theory of contradiction, and community of human destiny; Liu Ruohan from Advertising (Sino-German 4+0) discussed grassroots party building and community governance in the light of her own experience of practicing in the society, which fully illustrated that everyone is a practitioner, participant, and beneficiary of grassroots governance; and Liu Ruohan from Advertising (Sino-German 4+0) discussed grassroots party building and community governance in the context of her own social practice experiences. The activity of "Open Mai Night" of Siyuan Society is a new attempt of "cross-border fusion" between theoretical lectures and stand-up comedy, which makes theoretical learning both informative and interesting. Through the innovative form of open mike, it closely combines Marxist theory with real life and social practice of college students, and successfully stimulates the motivation and enthusiasm of young students to learn and publicize Marxism. The "talk show style" sharing of young students also fully demonstrated the deep understanding and recognition of contemporary Chinese youth on theoretical self-confidence, road self-confidence, institutional self-confidence and cultural self-confidence, which made teachers and students who participated in the activity deeply realize the important status and great value of Marxism in contemporary China.
