2020 Sino-German College of Design and Communication Summer Social Practice Departure Ceremony was successfully held

On the morning of July 3, Zhejiang Wanli College International College & Sino-German College of Design and Communication 2020 Summer Social Practice Departure Ceremony was successfully held in Conference Room 51A104. Mr. Ding Yajun, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the International College, Mr. Zhang Ji, Assistant Director of the Overseas Campus Department and Secretary of the General Youth League Branch, Mr. Li Danwei, Director of the Academic Work Office, Mr. Liang Jianan, Deputy Secretary of the General Youth League Branch, Mr. Gao Siyu, Mr. Lin Chen and Mr. Zhang Xiaoyan, and other instructors of the practice teams, together with all the members of the College's summer social practice team, attended this departure ceremony.

This summer social practice marching ceremony introduced the general situation of the College's practice activities. This year, three teams were formed in our college, adhering to the themes of "standing on the tide, chasing the Chinese dream", "building a nest to attract swallows to return, staying in the swallows to cast youth", "youth building a new era, youth classroom English Why The theme of the conference was "Youth in the New Era, English Why", and so on, to go out of campus, feed the society and put into practice. The meeting was hosted by Jiang Yuwei, Deputy Student Secretary of the General Committee of International College.

First of all, Xia Xiaowen, the leader of the "Home Swallows Return" summer social practice team, and Chen Ke, a member of the "Walking English Class" summer social practice team, made speeches as student representatives. In this summer, the team members showed their enthusiasm and confidence to do well in the summer practice, and expressed their sincere thanks to the instructors and college leaders.

Mr. Liang Jia Nan, as the representative of the instructor of this social practice activity, made a speech and told us that "practice makes true knowledge and practical work makes talents" with his own personal experience of social practice in the summer. Summer social practice is an important way for college students to go deeper into the society and experience the social situation, and it is also a touchstone for the cultivation of their comprehensive strength. Participating in the summer social practice is a platform to show one's ability and has a positive impact on the development of society. She believed that through the series of summer social practice activities, we will enrich our knowledge, enhance our ability of self-reliance and self-improvement, and also gain friendship and leave a beautiful memory. Finally, she hoped that each team would carry forward the team spirit and their respective strengths, learn from each other and help each other, and work together to make progress and complete the practice tasks successfully.

In the departure ceremony, Secretary Ding Yajun clarified that the summer social practice is a platform for the college to implement the Party's policy, enhance students' sense of social responsibility, and show our students' love for the country, strong will for the country, and service for the country. To this end, Mr. Ding put forward four hopes to the team members for this summer practice activity.

(1) We hope that the members of this summer social practice will feel the changes of economic development and deeply appreciate the hard-won good life nowadays. And they should combine their personal and national feelings, and strengthen the four self-confidence of socialism with Chinese characteristics: road confidence, theory confidence, system confidence and cultural confidence, and improve their moral quality and sense of mission through this practice.

(2) We hope that everyone will have the spirit of teamwork and cultivate the quality of hard work and seriousness. This is also the purpose of this activity, and we hope that everyone can fully realize the power of teamwork.

(3) We hope that the participants will give full play to their professional strengths, contribute selflessly to the team and demonstrate their value in life. At the same time, they can also consolidate and deepen their professional knowledge, and use the theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems.

(4) Secretary Ding also gave an important advice to the practice team, that is, to establish the awareness of safety first, to organize and prepare the activities carefully, and to ensure the safety of all participants.

After that, Secretary Ding Yajun and teacher Zhang Ji awarded the representatives of the three summer practice teams the flag of Zhejiang Wanli College International College & Sino-German College of Design and Communication 2020 Summer Social Practice Team. Under the leadership of the pledge leader Zhu Chengchao, all the practice team members took the oath of departure with great passion.

Finally, Jiang Yuwei gave a safety training to all members before the summer social practice, emphasizing again the safety issues during the practice and giving a series of guidance arrangements. We believe that this summer social practice will let our students get exercise and contribute their youthful power to the society!
