In the afternoon of October 14, entrusted by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, the expert evaluation activity of "Declaration of Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Institutions" was firstly carried out in our college, and Prof. Lv Jin, the head of the expert group for evaluation of Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions, came to visit and inspect the Sino-German College of Design and Communication. Vice President Qian Guoying of Zhejiang Wanli College and Vice President Zhang Yiping of Sino-German College of Design and Communication of Zhejiang Wanli College accompanied the inspection.
Vice President Qian Guoying and Vice President Zhang Yiping expressed a warm welcome to the expert review team and introduced the characteristics of our college in international schooling: small class teaching, teaching outside the partner institutions, school-enterprise cooperation, and close integration of theory and practice.
The evaluation team first visited the classrooms of our language courses, interacted and exchanged ideas with the IELTS instructors and the students to understand the students' learning situation in our institute.
After that, we inspected our Sino-German Creative Workshop. The expert group went into the classroom of western font class, appreciated the excellent design works of our students, and had a cordial conversation with Stephen, a German foreign teacher, and praised the international classroom built by our institute for students in China.
At the end of the visit, the evaluation group came to the lecture site of computer-aided design class and listened to the students' personal speech on "poster design concept".
After the inspection, the expert group will hold a symposium with the leaders of the university and the institute to ask further questions and exchange views on the development of Sino-foreign cooperative education in our university and give feedback on relevant opinions.
