October 7-11Ninth Forum of the "Sino-German Forum: Cultivation of Applied Human Resources at Higher Levels (CDAH)"It was held at the University of Technology and Economics Saarland (HTW Saar) in Saarbrücken, Germany. Dr. Jens Diener, State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice of the State of Saarland, Mr. Huang Wei, Public Counselor of the Education Department of the Chinese Embassy in Germany, Mr. Rudolf Scharping, former Governor of Rhineland-Palatinate and former Minister of Defense, Mr. Dieter Leonhard, President of the Federation for International Cooperation among German Universities and President of the HTW Saar, attended the event. Dr.-Ing. Dieter Leonhard, President of the Association for International Cooperation of German Universities and President of the Saarland University of Technology and Economics, attended the event. More than 60 experts and scholars from nearly 30 universities and institutions in China and Germany attended the forum conference. At the invitation of the organizers, Zhang Yiping, Director of Sino-German Branding Department, President of Sino-German School of Design and Communication, and President of Sino-German Joint Academy, went to Germany to attend the conference.
This year's Sino-German Forum General Assembly is organized under the theme "Applied Dual Education Models in China and Germany--Industry Demand and Education DemandThe theme of the conference was "Dual Education".
