In order to further study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the spirit of the National Education Conference and the spirit of the Third Congress of the CPC Zhejiang Miles College, on the morning of November 19th, Ma Jianrong, Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Miles College, carried out a lecture on the spirit of the conference to the teachers of the Department of Sino-German Branding, the International College, the Department of Arts and Sports and the College of Horses. The lecture was hosted by Zhang Yiping, director of Sino-German Branding Department and secretary of the Party branch.
President Ma first reviewed the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. The Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Promoting Chinese Modernization adopted at the Third Plenary Session of the Twentieth Central Committee of the CPC discussed the importance of deepening reform in terms of "six adherences" and "four urgent needs", and pointed out that "Education, science and technology, and talents are the basic and strategic support for Chinese-style modernization". Then he pointed out how higher education should better serve the national strategic needs and cultivate applied talents with international vision and innovation ability in the context of the new era, taking into account the spirit of the National Education Conference.
At the meeting, Mr. Ma Jianrong, vice president of the university, explained in detail the overall deployment and development idea of "1566" determined by the third party congress, that is, the ambitious goal of building a first-class, internationally renowned high-level applied university. He emphasized that in order to achieve this goal, the university will follow five "insist" principles, implement six "persistent" tasks, and make every effort to build six "Wanli" brands.
At the same time, he also particularly mentioned that in this undergraduate education teaching evaluation, the five teaching evaluation highlights of the university, including the 365 party building work system, integration of industry and education, innovation and entrepreneurship, local internationalization construction, and life philosophy and politics, which were constructed by the university, were affirmed by the experts. In the critical period of our university upgrading to a university, we should continue to struggle and concentrate our efforts to jointly promote the quality and development of the university.
In the course of the speech, President Ma also particularly emphasized that the participating colleges and departments should raise their positions and take up the heavy burden. As an important window for the school's internationalization construction, the Sino-German Branding Department should give full play to the advantages of Chinese-foreign cooperative education, integrate international resources, strengthen the construction of brand science, and make more breakthroughs in the construction of Chinese-foreign joint laboratories and the declaration of national topics; the discipline construction of the School of Horse should be empowered for the school's ideological and political education, and the spirit of the founding spirit of the founding fathers of Zhejiang Miles College, Xu Yafen and Ying Xiong, etc., should be integrated into daily classroom teaching. The Department of Arts and Physical Education bears the heavy burden of aesthetic education and sports, and it is the goal of the people of Arts and Physical Education to consolidate physical education and make a brand of aesthetic education; the International College, as a functional department of international students' management, should make efforts to plan for the internationalization construction of the university to improve the quality of the school.
