Editor's Notes:
In the era of globalization, digitalization and rapid development of intelligence, brand innovation has become a key factor in the sustainable development of enterprises. Whether it is product design, packaging innovation, marketing strategy or business model, domestic and foreign brands are constantly exploring and iterating to adapt to market demand and consumer preference changes. Sino-German Department of Branding has organized a series of lectures on "International Branding Innovation", inviting branding experts and scholars from the industry and academia to share the latest trends, methods and cases of international branding innovation, in order to inspire teachers and students to think innovatively and improve the level of branding discipline construction.
On the evening of November 28th, the Sino-German Branding School held a series of lectures on "International Branding Innovation" and invited Leonid Krykhtin to give a special lecture to the students and teachers of the school.Artificial intelligence transforms design: creative collaboration with machines(Transforming Design with AI: Creative Collaboration with Machines).
Presenter Introduction

Leonid Krykhtinis an experienced architectural designer and educator, holding a Master of Architecture from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, with research interests in computational design, digital fabrication and spatial computing technologies (VR/AR/XR). He has worked as a senior designer at the globally renowned Zaha Hadid Architects, where he was involved in the design of iconic projects such as the Sberbank Headquarters in Moscow and the Nanjing International Youth Center. He currently serves as the Founder and Creative Director of the Leon Krykhtin Design Network.Krykhtin has also made significant contributions to architectural education, writing extensively on the intersections of artificial intelligence, meta-universes, and design, and is a frequent speaker at international conferences on the future of design and technology, having lectured at the University of North Texas, New York University Shanghai, and the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and has conducted lectures and seminars at several universities, and has devoted himself to teaching generative design, digital fabrication, VR/AR technology, and AI in design.
The AI revolution: new algorithms drive thinking about the future of design
In Krykhtin's fascinating talk, he provides insight into theThe rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and the wide-ranging implications of the technological revolution.. At present, the artificial intelligence technology revolution is sweeping the world with unprecedented momentum, profoundly reshaping the face of all walks of life. Intelligent algorithms have not only spawned a leaping change in productivity, but have also widely penetrated into various fields, driving the continuous forward movement of AI technology and showing unlimited development potential and future possibilities. These questionsGreatly stimulated the interest of the teachers and students presentLead them on.An in-depth reflection on the application of artificial intelligence and future design trends.

AI empowerment: deepening the transformation and reinvention of the tool role
Krykhtin points out that with the rise of the artificial intelligence revolutionHumanity and DesignFundamental changes are taking place in the interaction patterns of toolsThe relationship between the two parties is no longer a one-way, simple operator-tool relationship. The relationship between the two parties is no longer a one-way, simple operator-tool relationship, but is gradually evolving into aCo-creation between humans and artificial intelligence. This evolutionrequire a deviceAccountants rethinking their roleInstead of simply utilizing AI, designers and AI can work together to drive innovation, break the shackles of traditional thinking, and lead the way towards greater creative excellence and innovation.

AI Collaboration: Convergence of Virtual and Real Innovation
Through a series ofVivid and concrete cases, Krykhtin demonstrated to the students and faculty in the audience the wide-ranging impact of AI in the field of art creation. He pointed out that today's AI technology has reached a stage of maturity where its application tentacles extend to theFilmmaking, graphic design, visual communication, architectural design and even emerging meta-universe experiencesand other dimensions, showing remarkable creativity and diversity. In addition, he further emphasized the need toMaximizing the Potential of Artificial IntelligenceThe key is toAccurately and efficiently utilize its powerful big data analytics capabilitiesThe company's mission is to create digital artwork that is both beautiful and profoundly impactful, and to combine it with innovative thinking that goes beyond traditional frameworks.

AI Expansion: The Infinite Extension of Design Boundaries
Krykhtin further points out that the intervention of AI is not just a revolution at the tool level, it also brings aboutA profound change in design philosophy and methodology. Designers can now leverage AI's powerful computing power and pattern recognition technology to tackle previously unimaginably complex problems, thereby creating more personalized and innovative design solutions that respond quickly to market changes and user needs. In addition, Krykhtin emphasized that the development of AI has also provided designers withBringing in the newchallenges.. As AI becomes more widely used in the design field, designers need to keep learning new skills to adapt to this change. In addition to understanding how AI works and learning how to work with AI, there is a need toConsider how to ensure originality and ethics in design work, and how to protect user privacy and data security.
Krykhtin's insightful and inspiring lecture.A fresh perspective for Chinese and German studentsthat helped them examine future trends in their careers. At the end of the talk, Krykhtin encouraged the students toActively embracing the changes brought about by artificial intelligence, continues to explore and experiment in order to discover the infinite possibilities of AI in the field of design. He believes that through the combination of human creativity and AI's technical capabilities, the future design field will become more colorful and bring more value and beauty to human society.
