The "Altonale" Art Feast! Our cultural festival at home in Germany

The University of Design and Communication Sciences in Hamburg is located on the banks of the Elbe River, a famous international cultural community in Germany, and is home to the "Altonale" cultural festival, an annual international audio-visual arts festival.

Every year, at the end of June, the Altona region hosts a two-week cultural festival called "altonale", which involves art, music, design, theater, flea markets and international cuisine, with partner cities bringing their art, culture and cuisine to the event each year. More than 200 events, including art, literature, drama, film, music and dance, will take place in the Altona district. As Hamburg's annual cultural festival, each year the Altonale Festival innovates and brings something different to the audience.

This year's Altonale Festival will turn the streets of the Altona district into an oversized theater stage gallery playground with a variety of exciting events. The first weekend afterwards there will be plenty of antique markets, flea markets and children's parks in the Platz der Republik neighborhood, where both adults and children will be able to get something out of the Altonale Festival, which is also A major highlight of the Altonale Festival.

The "Altonale" is just one branch of Hamburg's international art and cultural festivals: there is also the annual Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival in May, the biennial November Chinese Festival (Chinatime), the October Film Festival and the Elbe Jazz Festival at the end of May. More important is the annual British Flair in May ......
