Dr. Petyo Budakov, Associate Professor at the University of Applied Sciences of Design and Communication in Hamburg, Germany, has taught at several universities including St. Petersburg University of Technology and New Bulgaria University, and is a faculty member of the Sino-German School of Design and Communication at Zhejiang Wanli College. Dedicated to the establishment and development of digital learning and blended learning platforms, multimedia, visual communication, advertising, media design, 3D imaging these areas of relevance, is also the founder of Budakov Films Ltd (a design and communication company, active in Berlin and Sofia, Germany), worked for 8 years as a communication designer and account manager.
Professor Petyo taught two courses at Sino-German College, "Scientific Work Method" and "Market Research and Trend Study". During the seven weeks, the children of Sino-German established a deep revolutionary friendship with Petyo, from poems and songs to life ideals, and celebrated his first birthday in Sino-German... Q1: What do you think is the biggest difference between learning Chinese and German?
I was in China for only a few weeks and did not study Chinese systematically, so it is hard to summarize. However, I have a very good impression of many aspects of Chinese education. The Sino-German Institute is excellent, the Sino-German teachers are excellent, the way the institute's tutorials are managed is very international, and the Sino-German students are even better.
Q2: How can the students of Sino-German College further improve their abilities?
Here, I would like to quote Mr. Ali Krieger: "No matter what, there is always room for improvement". In my opinion, the learning journey is never-ending and students will continue to strive to learn in order to gain new knowledge and skills.

She is a very good teacher and has excellent communication skills with her students.

WeChat is a very good app and I will continue to use it.
Q8: Favorite Chinese food?
In fact, it's hard for me to say their Chinese names, I like Chinese food, although some dishes are not quite to my taste, but this is normal, there is a certain difference between the cultural aspects of food. (Petyo confesses that his understanding with the cafeteria aunt is based on hand gestures)
Q9: If you had to choose a Chinese city to live in, which one would you choose?
I only visited a few Chinese cities, so it was hard to make a choice, but Ningbo seemed like a really nice city and I really enjoyed it. (Looking forward to teaching next time)
