Lecture Description:Rapid advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology have impacted work concepts and processes in a variety of fields. AI can provide a variety of efficient tools that make it possible to accelerate and automate design tasks. Therefore, in the design discipline, AI is changing the classical design thinking process and management paradigm. This talk will explore the important role that AI plays in changing the design thinking process and analyze practical examples where AI has supported and enhanced the work of designers.
Speaker Profile: Dr. Titta Julkäs, Senior Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Branding, Germany, and PhD in Design at the University of Kaplan, Finland. Dr. Titta Julkäs has worked as a service designer for Volkwagen, Frog, Capgemini, Finland Oyq and other well-known companies, as well as an expert in design and development at KEHA-keskus in Helsinki. He is currently a member of the review board of Design Research Society and Design Innovation Management Conference. He has published several monographs and papers, including Shared Pathways: Human-Centered Digital Service Design and Artificial Intelligence.
