Speakers: Dr. Gaby David
Speaker Profile:Gaby David , teaches at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France, with a PhD from the Center for the History and Theory of Art at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris, and an MA in Fine Arts from the Université Paris 8. She is currently a member of the Executive Committee of The International Association of Visual Sociology, and her dissertation was selected as one of the best dissertations of the Association in 2016. He is a member of the IRCAV "Mobile Creation" group at the University of Paris III and a researcher at the TransCrit Center at the University of Paris VIII. More than twenty years of teaching experience in European universities, specializing in academic writing in English and French. Her multidisciplinary, multilingual and multicultural research experience in Uruguay, the United States, Israel and France characterizes her ongoing interest in the customary uses and practical implications of popular imagery in the context of sociological and mobile cultural research methodologies.
